Relax in Five Rejuvenating Mineral Pools

Settle into our hot mineral pools and immerse yourself in the irresistible natural essence of Harrison Hot Springs. Originally used by the Coast Salish for their medicinal properties and rejuvenating effects, our hot springs pools have been attracting visitors to Harrison Hot Springs for years — including famous guests such as Clark Gable, John Wayne, Michael Bublé, Robin Williams, and Liam Neeson.

Harrison Hot Springs Resort features five different natural, hot-spring-fed mineral pools, each kept at a different temperature. Pick one and play with the kids, sit quietly, swim laps, or chat with friends — indoors or out. You’re sure to find the perfect place to suit your mood. Simply float, frolic, and let everything drift away.

The Resort issues wristbands to all registered guests. The wristband will identify you as a guest of the resort and ensure access to our five natural mineral hot spring pools.

Harrison Hot Springs Pools

Fun Facts:  Hot Springs Pools

  • The waters average 1,300 parts per million of dissolved mineral solids, one of the highest concentrations of any mineral spring. Physiologically, the hot springs are reported to promote the elimination of impurities through the skin, bowels and kidneys. Harrison Hot Springs Resort boasts two indoor and three outdoor mineral pools. 
  • The indoor sitting pool is cooled to a temperature of 38-40 degrees C (100-103 degrees F), an ideal temperature for promoting the relief of general aches and stress.  Masks are mandatory in the sitting pool only. The indoor crescent pool is maintained at a temperature of 32 degrees C (90 degrees F degrees). 
  • Two outdoor pools have been built in a setting complete with cascading waterfall, rock formations and plants to simulate a typical West Coast setting. 
  • In the outside adult sitting pool, the hot spring waters are piped from the source and cooled to 32-35 degrees C (90-95 degrees F). 
  • The larger outside family pool is also kept at 35 degrees C (95 degrees F) and has a gently sloping ramp for those who prefer to walk into the pool. The deck is a non-slip, frost-proof clay tile that is heated by hot water tubing.
  • The outdoor lap pool is kept at a temperature of 30 degrees C (87 degrees) and is ideal for those seeking exercise by swimming lengths.

Indoor Pool

A dedicated "Quiet Zone" enclosed in the Harrison Hot Springs Spa building, this medium-sized, crescent-shaped pool is a perfect spot to wade, swim, stretch, and let the day’s tension disappear.

Indoor Hot Pool

Also located in our dedicated "Quiet Zone", this small circular pool delivers a level of heat designed for deep relaxation. A glass waterfall trickles down the wall nearby, and 30-foot ceilings with wooden rafters let the steam rise to a misty haze.

Outdoor Family Pool

This outdoor, mineral-rich Harrison Hot Springs pool places swimmers in a natural hot springs setting complete with running water, waterfalls, large granite rocks, and lush foliage. The family pool is large — approximately 4,000 square feet — and offers a gradual, sloped entrance for toddlers and wheelchair accessibility with ledge-style seating in various areas.

Outdoor Lap Pool

Aerobic swimming happens year-round in this long, outdoor lap pool. Under the gaze of nearby mountaintops and fir trees, this unique Harrison Hot Springs pool provides a beautiful place to get your workout in. Lounge chairs line the deck for summertime relaxation.
