Opened in June 2001, Healing Springs Spa SM is located next to the outdoor hot spring pools, and is surrounded by natural cedar and a garden of ferns and river rocks. Inside is an oasis of tranquility offering state-of-the art therapeutic equipment, nine treatment rooms and a sound system that pipes in the meditative sounds of nature.

In the $2.2 million spa, a glass waterfall bubbles soothingly in the lobby, sunrise lighting dimmers help shut out the world and guests can enjoy a variety of European-style spa services. Hydrotherapy, facials, sports massages, mud wraps and manicures and pedicures are among the services offered, as well as shiatsu, aroma massage and reflexology.

Specialty treatments are available for men as well as special packages such as the

"Golf 'n Spa" combination and "Time for Two Celebration" that complements massages with a serving of chocolate-covered fruit. There is also a private, two-person, sunken-slate mineral pool set beneath a simulated starlit sky.

Many of the treatments at the Healing Springs Spa incorporate Harrison 's natural mineral waters. The waters natural nutrients are said to:
