July 1, 2008 Canada Day celebrations are a time to hail the nation's birthday, starting with a pancake breakfast at Harrison Fire Hall. The day ends with a fireworks show over the lake directly in front of the beach next to the resort.
July 5 - 13, 2008 Harrison Festival of the Arts is held throughout the village of Harrison Hot Springs. This nine-day festival is a celebration of world music, theatre, dance and visual arts.
July 19, 2008 Annual Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Festival held on Harrison Lake.
August 5 - 8, 2008 Paddlewheel Adventure Reenactment of the original BC Gold Rush as the MV Native retraces the historic route up the Fraser and HarrisonRivers and Harrison Lake to Port Douglas.
August 25 - 29, 2008 North American Hobie Cat Championship Regatta Watch these colourful sailboats race across Harrison Lake.
September 2 - 7, 2008 World Championships Sand Sculpture Competition is held on the beach of Harrison Lake. The best master sand sculptors in the world return to Harrison Hot Springs every year to craft their creations against the beautiful lake backdrop. Sculptures will be on display until October 19,2 008September 12 - 13, 2008 Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival, one of the best country fairs in BC.
November 2008 Eagle Festival
November 27, 2008 Harrison Festival of Lights with Santa Claus Parade and fireworks November 27, 2008 - January 2, 2009 Festival of Trees - decorated trees by community organizations and businesses displayed in Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa.
April 2009 Tulips of the Valley 2nd Annual Tulip Festival. Over 40 acres of tulips, a virtual sea of colour! Seabird Island - 5 minutes east of Agassiz via Highway 7 (toward Hope).
May 2009 Tournament of Champions Sand Sculpture Competition This event invites winners of past Harrison World Champions to compete in a unique competition and remains on display until October 19, 2008.
