we are currently recruiting for the position of:

Duties and responsibilities:
 
• Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction

• Able to exceed the guests’ needs by providing exceptional service in a high paced Café environment

• Able to attend to work reliably

• Able to work safely and securely in a manner that protects the integrity and safety of the guest, associates and hotel

The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:

  • ‘Food Safe’, Level One required
  • Minimum of one year experience as a server in a busy cafe environment 
  • Universal Service Standards (USS) skills and demonstrate constantly displaying any and all
  • Proven ability to quickly and accurately handle and balance cash, credit and debit cards
  • Previous experience with specialty coffee machinery preferred
  • Previous experience with a computerized POS system preferred
  • Physically able to safely lift equipment weighing 25lbs
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and take direction well
  • Proven previous experience in up-selling and suggestive selling preferred
  • Proven previous experience as a team player
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills required
  • Proven Safe Work and reliable attendance record required
  • Flexible to a changing schedule
  • Second language an asset
