January - May 2014 Harrison Festival of the Arts presents their winter and spring “Season of Performing Arts" featuring a variety of acts to lead up to their summer festival. Check their website for upcoming events. April 2014 Tulips of the Valley Annual Tulip Festival. Over 40 acres of tulips, a virtual sea of colour! Seabird Island - 5 minutes east of Agassiz via Highway 7 (towards Hope). Check dates on their website, as this event is weather dependent. May 31, 2014 Canadian Cancer Society is holding the Harrison Hot Springs Relay for Life at Harrison Beach and Lagoon for 12 hours of fun, friendship and fundraising. Take turns walking or running in a non-competitive relay while enjoying entertainment and activities. June 7 - 8, 2014 Sasquatch Days are returning to Harrison Hot Sprngs to celebrate the region's heritage with canoe races, Salmon BBQ, games and Sasquatch stories. July 1, 2014 Canada Day celebrations are a time to hail the nation's birthday, starting with a pancake breakfast at Harrison Fire Hall. The day ends with a fireworks show over the lake directly in front of the beach next to the resort. July 12 - 20, 2014 Harrison Festival of the Arts is held throughout the village of Harrison Hot Springs. This nine-day festival is a celebration of world music, theatre, dance and visual arts. July 21, 2014 Annual Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Festival held on Harrison Lake. July 26, 2014 Visit the local farms by joining the Slow Food Cycle Tour through rural Agassiz. August 19, 2014 6th annual Edible Vancouver Garlic Festival held at Limbert Mountain Farm in Agassiz celebrates the garlic harvest and includes local food vendors, wine and music. August 30 - 31, 2014 Bands on the Beach two day music extravaganza on Harrison beach featuring some of the Fraser Valley's best bands. September 12 - 13, 2014 Agassiz Fall Fair and Corn Festival, one of the best country fairs in BC. September 6 - 7, 2014 Chilliwack Garlic Festival offers 12 varieties of garlic to sample from mild to hot. As well as cooking demos, music and family fun zone. September 27 - October 31, 2014 Reapers Haunted Attraction Chilliwack's own Halloween theme attraction is sure to give you a scare! October 24 - 25, 2014 Annual Harrison Beer Festival will provide an opportunity to sample some of BC's finest hand crafted beers and celebrate at Harrison's own Octoberfest Dance. November 28 - 30, 2014 Harrison's Bald Eagle Weekend celebrates the eagles annual return to Harrison River to feast on the spawning salmon. With shuttle buses and boat tours, you will be able to see thousands of eagles in their natural setting. Here at Harrison Hot Sprngs Resort we will host a nature photo display and workshop. November 26, 2014 - January 4, 2015 Annual Festival of Trees decorated by local merchants and organizations are displayed in the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa lobby over the holiday season. February 7 & 8, 2015 The Harrison Family Fun Carnival is two days of activities, games, entertainment and fun for the entire family to help celebrate the new Family Day weekend. Located at Harrison Resort and Harrison Memorial Hall the village will be alive with action for one and all.
